Overview
This advanced-level course is designed to prepare experienced professionals to pass the PgMP® certification exam and lead complex, high-impact programs across multiple projects and initiatives. The course focuses on strategic alignment, benefits management, stakeholder engagement, and governance in multi-project environments.
Fully aligned with PMI’s PgMP® Examination Content Outline (ECO) and The Standard for Program Management (4th Edition), the course also provides 35 contact hours (PDUs) required for exam eligibility.

Module 1: Introduction to PgMP® and Program Management Fundamentals
Understand PMI’s definition of program management, the role of a program manager, and the eligibility criteria for PgMP®. Explore the application and panel review process, and how PgMP® differs from PMP®.
Module 2: Strategic Program Alignment
Learn how to align programs with organizational vision, mission, and strategic objectives. This includes program business cases, environmental assessments, roadmap development, and organizational change alignment.
Module 3: Program Benefits Management
Master techniques to identify, plan, deliver, transition, and sustain program benefits. Learn how to use the benefits register, benefit realization plans, metrics, and sustainment techniques that ensure lasting value.
Module 4: Program Stakeholder Engagement
Develop advanced stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and engagement strategies. Learn how to navigate political environments, resolve stakeholder conflicts, and maintain ongoing collaboration and influence.
Module 5: Program Governance
Understand how to establish governance boards, define escalation paths, ensure compliance, and provide oversight for risk, issue, scope, and quality. Explore how program-level controls differ from project-level governance.
Module 6: Program Life Cycle Management
Explore how to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close programs and their component projects. This includes dependency management, program integration, adaptive planning, and performance tracking through KPIs.
Module 7: Risk, Integration, and Resource Management
Manage complex risks, shared resources, and interdependencies across projects. Learn how to escalate risks to governance boards and align risk responses across project teams for unified program success.
Module 8: Agile and Hybrid Program Management
Learn how to manage programs in agile, hybrid, or traditional contexts. Understand how to integrate agile delivery with program governance, benefits tracking, and stakeholder engagement in evolving environments.
Module 9: Exam Strategy & Simulation
Prepare for the two-step PgMP® evaluation (panel review + multiple-choice exam) with practice questions, case study analysis, and mock exams. Learn time management, question analysis, and how to answer scenario-based questions.
