Module 2: Schedule Strategy
Learn how to define the scheduling strategy early in the project lifecycle, including methodology selection, schedule architecture, integration needs, and alignment with stakeholder requirements.
Module 3: Schedule Planning and Development
Master the tools and techniques for creating effective schedules. Topics include WBS alignment, activity sequencing, estimating durations, applying dependencies, resource leveling, and schedule baselining.
Module 4: Schedule Monitoring and Controlling
Understand how to track schedule performance, detect variances, and apply corrective actions. Learn earned value metrics, forecasting techniques, performance indicators, and schedule compression strategies.
Module 5: Schedule Closeout
Ensure a smooth project or phase closure through proper documentation, performance analysis, and lessons learned. This module also covers archiving schedules and releasing resources.
Module 6: Stakeholder Communications Management
Explore communication strategies specific to scheduling, including presenting updates, managing stakeholder expectations, and integrating schedule reports into enterprise dashboards and governance routines.
Module 7: Scheduling Tools, Techniques, and Best Practices
Gain hands-on exposure to tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, or others (based on participant preference). Understand how to use Gantt charts, critical path analysis (CPM), fast tracking, crashing, and milestone charts effectively.
Module 8: Risk, Change, and Agile Scheduling Approaches
Learn how to manage schedule risk, adapt to change, and work with agile and hybrid environments. This includes building flexibility into schedules and handling rolling wave planning.
Module 9: PMI-SP® Exam Readiness & Practice
This final module includes full-length mock exams, quizzes, and exam-taking strategies. It reinforces the standard scheduling terminology, common traps, and best approaches to scenario-based questions.
